Don’t lose your health benefits

Every year, you must renew your Aetna Better Health® of Maryland HealthChoice benefits. Maryland Health Connection will notify you 60 days in advance of your renewal date.

Before you renew, you’ll need:

  • Household monthly income (pay stubs, W-2 forms or tax returns, if you have them) 

  • Social Security numbers or document numbers for each household member reapplying for coverage 

  • Date of birth for each household member reapplying for coverage

  • Photo ID if you’re renewing in person

Renew your Medicaid coverage now 

By phone

Call 1-855-642-8572 (TTY: 711).

Through the mobile app

Download the free Enroll MHC app to renew your coverage, upload documents and more.

 

In person 

Switch to Aetna Better Health

Members who are already enrolled in Maryland HealthChoice can switch health plans if they are eligible. Learn more about how to change your health plan or managed care organization on the Maryland Health Connection site.
